Erik Weaver is a specialist focused on the intersection of cloud and the M&E industry and is currently running Virtual & Adaptive production for the Entertainment Technology Center@the University of Southern California (ETC). Erik founded the ETC R&D grant for indiviuals of diversity, which has funded 5 short films, and graduated from the 3rd Unreal Fellowship. Projects include executive producer on Ripple Effect a production-focused in Covid safety and Virtual Production, which release a groundbreaking 148 pager white paper on in-camera VFX on volumes using Unreal. Mr. Weaver also Executive produced FatHead, the latest end-to-end virtual production digging deep in to next generation tools, metadata, and sound design.
