A keen inventor, Stephen holds multiple patents in the areas of metadata management, intelligent video content generation and, video security and access control.

As EditShare’s CTO, Stephen works closely with globally distributed engineering teams setting technical direction, advocating best practice, driving quality improvements, and defining the approach for selection and adoption of new technologies.

Prior to EditShare, Stephen worked as a senior architect for Cisco Video group/NDS, from which he brings a wide range of experience in video delivery, security, access control, personalisation (and associated privacy considerations) and the complexities of operating large scale production systems for service providers around the world.
