Anita Seeratan currently works at Keen Independent Research as a Project Assistant. Prior to this she held supporting roles at AMC Networks and NBC Universal’s Technology Center in media support. At both companies, Anita assisted on-air and streaming for the Global Media Operations team. Her responsibilities at Keen Independent include the creation of data infographics, writing and editing, and other project support.

With a diverse background in media, visual, and performing arts, Ms. Seeratan has worked in venues such as St. Anne’s Warehouse, Voorhees Theater, and
Miller Theater and as a stage manager at Natraj Center for the Performing Arts and Queens Theater in New York City. She has held production roles for high-profile events such as the Governors Ball, Tribeca Film Festival, Winter Film Awards, and River to River Film Festival in New York City.

She has also provided video editing support to boutique production companies such as J'adore Love Photo and Cinema, Austin Street Productions, Ketak Dhiman Productions, and others. For the post-production team at New York City College of Technology, Ms. Seeratan spearheaded the creative direction of videos and oversaw the final product of a number of films.

Ms. Seeratan is a also professional Bollywood dancer and teacher. She has performed in Times Square, Brooklyn Borough Hall, Queens Borough Hall, the United Nations, and Queens Theater. She has also taught dance internationally to underserved youth in Jamaica.

Anita is a few weeks away from completing a Master’s in Information Technology Management and Project Management at Colorado State University. She earned a Bachelor of Technology in Entertainment Technology Magna Cum Laude at the New York City College of Technology.
