Steve Bilow has worked in the television broadcast and computer graphics industries for over 30 years. He has served in software engineering, marketing, training management, and project management positions at Tektronix, Grass Valley, Thomson Broadcast, Planar Systems, and BlueVolt LLC. He is currently a Senior Product Marketing Manager at Telestream where he focuses on signal generators and waveform monitors. He is based in Portland Oregon. Bilow has a longstanding interest in Blockchain applications outside of the realm of cryptocurrency - specifically smart contracts and authenticity validation. He first experienced Television Test Equipment in the late 1970's and first published in the SMPTE Journal in 2001. He is a member of SMPTE where he serves on the journal's Board of Editors and The Association for Computing Machinery where he serves on several USACM committees on cybersecurity and data privacy. He is listed in Who's Who in Media and Communications (1998), Personalities of America (1990), and Who's Who in the West (1989-present).
